  • Summary: Huge Improvement
  • Comment: The new TV Guide Magazine is a huge improvement over the old. The large format is easy to follow and the print almost large enough for my 90 year old father to read. Having both Central and Eastern time zones on the same listing are a bit confusing at first, but you get used to it after a while. I'm not interested in the many articles about the feature TV shows and movies, but they appear to be well written.

  • Summary: TV Guide Subscription
  • Comment: I am very unhappy with this product. I ordered the subscription on June 13th as a gift for Father's day. It's now July 19th and he has not gotten a single issue. I checked and it does say that subscriptions start 4-6 weeks after you buy the product and that is the truth! I can see my order says the subscription will start on August 3rd. If I knew that it would take this long I would have bought it at the newstand and done it with TV guide direct.

  • Summary: Worth the Money
  • Comment: Yes you can channel surf and if you have TimeWarner cable you can check TV GTV Guideuide's station BUT the articles and advance info ain't on the tv set. I've tried other entertainment magazines and the free Sunday paper one--when you get out to buy it but this comes in the mailbox and you can flip through it at your leisure. I've even found things I didn't know were on, including internet shows and internet extras from the various tv shows and upcoming goodies of all kinds. So stop wasting money on lattes and cigarettes and get TV Guide instead.
